Travel to Chicago Cheaply This Spring

Spring season is a season of travel deals and discounts in Chicago. Many hotels offer much lower rates that what you’d pay in the summer, and flights to Chicago during this time are much cheaper. Right now, fares are among the lowest you’ll find, thanks to a spring sale from United Airlines.

So how good are these fares? Well, flights to or from Chicago to Kansas City start at $69 each way; from New Orleans it’s $98; and flights from Boston are just $83 each way. Other cities on sale include Denver, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and more, with prices ranging from $58 to $143 each way, plus taxes and fees.

Travel must occur between April 7 and May 27 and a 14-day advance purchase is required. The lowest fares are available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, which means you could come out on Saturday, see the major sites, enjoy Sunday brunch, hit a few museums on Monday, and be back in the office by Tuesday afternoon, enjoying the perfect 3 day-weekend in Chicago.
